Great value for money cheerful double room close to Brixton/Tulse Hill

Hi, it is always difficult to talk about one-self but I will try here to give it my best shot! I have been living in Brixton for the last 25 years and I am originally from France, so I speak French and I can get by in Italian. I am married, my husband, Lemar is from Congo and he speaks English, French and Lingala. I have 3 grown up children. One of my daughters has recently moved out and subsequently I have a spare bedroom at home to rent. I work half the week as a french assistant in a secondary school. The rest of the time I enjoy gardening, walking, running, reading, listening to music, seeing my friends, spending time with my family and looking after our cat. When I have more free time I love travelling. In our household we are all sociable and fairly easy going but we like to keep the place clean and tidy and we expect people to leave the place as clean as they found it. We sometimes eat together but not all the time as we all have different schedules and we are all very independent. We are considerate to others and expect the same in return. We know well the area and my husband knows London very well so we can help with direction and where to find amenities.
