The room has a comfortable double bed and a desk. It is my daughter's room, when she is not away at University. It is next to the bathroom which has bathtub with a shower attachment and there's a separate shower with toilet downstairs. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with full length sliding glass doors that look onto a small patio area. There's a separate living room area, no TV . The house is a 2 storey Victorian terraced house, located on a quiet and friendly street with lovely neighbours. The location is great, we're a 12 min walk to Brixton tube for the Victorian Line, and a 7 min walk to Herne Hill for National Rail (and Loughborough Junction) Brockwell park is 5 mins away with the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and lots of outdoor activities. Brixton is a vibrant and multicultural areas with lots of trendy food and drinks spots. Herne Hill is a residential area with a weekend farmer's market and some good independent bookshops.
A non-smoker. Someone who's independent and respectful of the house and each other's space. Half the week, I work from home, though sometimes I am out of London. Someone who doesn't mind taking their shoes off when they come in (I have slippers for you) and who likes cats! (I have two very chill and friendly cats) I am mainly vegetarian so would prefer someone who doesn't want to cook meat every day.
I have two cats. My kids are away at Uni but might drop back overnight sometimes. We are a mainly vegetarian household.
All utilities are included in the price. That means Electricity, Gas, Water and Internet.
